As Adam promised such functionality has been implemented in the latest sprint. From now on you can import and export all your user stories along with the tasks assigned to them. Though we introduced some changes to the old CSV file format, the backward compatibility is maintained. To learn about those changes please read release notes.

Sorry for not getting back to you for so long. You can change your password in your user profile. To get into user profile you need to click on your name in the top-right corner of the application view (next to the "Logged as" label). You will see the "Change password" button.

A comment on the problem "incomplete text in task" in Code Sprinters:

I've forgotten to mention that you're right about the maximum length of that field - it is 256 characters. To avoid other problems with cutting off too long task descriptions we plan to add the validation. – Marcin Świątek , on July 23, 2009 12:28

Hi Alejandro, thank you for your feedback and your active participation in Banana Scrum development. Well, we believe the task field is supposed to store only a short description of the task. Instead of that you can use an item description field. Thanks to extended formatting you'll make your descriptions more expressive so that they could carry even more information. It is also possible to make them hierarchical by using headers (If you need some tips you can read the news we posted few days ago on Banana Scrum webiste). I hope it will help you.

Thank you for your question. For now everyone can modify the product backlog. When a new item is created it's assigned with the name of its creator. If someone modifies an item a proper information is also saved.

After some consideration we think the functionality suggested by you may be useful so I'm putting that on our backlog. On the other hand we should remember about the trust among team members. In case of many teams (like us) such feature is unnecessary.

Now you can use the new backlog import feature. It was introduced in the latest release. Some more information on how to use this new functionality will be available tomorrow at Banana Scrum website.

This feature is available after the latest release. Please note that you can only export the backlog items. The information about tasks and their estimates is omitted.
