I'm having this problem, but its on an English version of Windows (XP x64 SP2). The same installer worked fine on my computer when I was using XP SP3 (x86).

Instead of the contents of my Windows Desktop icons showing up, like Recycle Bin and My Computer, I get a folder called "Desktop" which opens a window containing my desktop when opened.

Do you think this solves the problem? Mark it as solved
