You could use the same standards of separating urls by commas or pipes from the shortcuts system and automatically open these tabs or maybe browsabrowsa split views.

Visited links history even if opened outside the SSB
Would be nice if the SSB kept the links you clicked in the history, even if they were opened in the default browser. This way they would show up as visited in your SSB. Useful for SSBs like Digg, reddit, FriendFeed, etc.
