A comment on the problem "Miro search returns no results despite the video's existence" in Participatory Culture Foundation (Miro):
Btw, how would it be possible in the first place to limit a search to say youtube only? Perhaps that is one solution to the problem? – mw1, on November 07, 2009 11:58-

I assume it's all, as I make no limiting choices; all I do is enter a few words in the search field and hit enter. After a few seconds the first results trickle in, which continues for another couple seconds, I'm assuming gathering response from the source(s). Once the feedback seems complete, i.e., a long list has been gathered, suddenly the list shrinks to a subset of what was originally shown. -

@ ILMAR: I have EXACTLY your experience--results briefly (2-3 seconds) show up but then suddenly a fraction of the list remains and most other results (seemingly YouTube items?) disappear.
This basically renders Miro Video Search useless!
Does Dean of Miro have a response to this?
