I've added the twitter aps to my facebook account but can't seem to log into my twitter account from facebook? Is anyone else having this problem?

On the Twitter Status blog, Twitter says there's a problem with the Facebook application.

Here's the relevant excerpt

Facebook app: currently broken for many users, we need to rework some of the core functionality of the app to bring it back in a stable way.

Some people in other threads say they're using the TwitterSync Facebook app instead. But I've not tried it, so I don't know first-hand if it works.

Hmm. That doesn't seem to work. So I may be doing it wrong. When I go to my FB profile page & click Twitter, I don't get an option to write a post. I tried to add Twitter from Facebook but when I try to use it I just get some sort of API Command page (see below). Then, in order to report the bug I had to create yet another login. Poor.

I don't think that's possible yet, I'm afraid. It seems to work only one-way (Twitter to Facebook, not Facebook to Twitter) for now. – Jon, on May 10, 2008 14:54

Not at all. Your friends won't know that their invites are being ignored and you can still receive your normal Facebook notifications (such as wall post, messages, etc.) from those friends.

Another cool thing that Facebook did to stop the problem of unwanted applications was enabling you to block all application invites from a particular person. See here: http://blog.facebook.com/blog.php?pos...

Alright, after you add the Twitter application to your Facebook account, go to your "Applications" sidebar on the left and click on the link which says "Twitter" (or go here: http://apps.facebook.com/twitter/). From there, you will see a near-replica of the Twitter home page where you can update what you're doing in the box on top and see your friend's updates. Hope this helps.

i'm not sure how that works :( i just went to the twitter app in facebook & saw no way to twitter from there? i have twitter synced to facebook & my posts go up from twitter to facebook, but exactly how do i post to twitter from facebook? ps: i don't understand how to post questions on twitter! it keeps asking for me to create new personas? & says my reg login isinvalid

Sure, just grab the Twitter Facebook app. I use it and love it. It even changes your Facebook status to read: "*Your name* is twittering: *what you twittered*", upon request of course. Check it out, and enjoy!
