Thank you, but verizon allows 160 characters out of network and more in network. Since I need to save texts and Verizon is so cocky and expensive, I wonder if you're able to offer any suggestions for new service? I have been wanting to cut loose from verizon for years and now have a great excuse. Some networks break up messages, do they not? Can you refer me to site to research and compare services and costs? At your leisure of course. I am not that fluent on the net.. Thanks much. – deborah bruzzo, on June 20, 2009 09:59

I managed to compose, send and receive a longer message bu myself and sen to myself successfully - but kindly clarify that this cannot be saved on treasuremy text, since it did not arrive there - unles it takes time. But I forwarded treasure an old short tect and it came right up. So am I correct in assuming that pic texts can't be saved here? Thank you for your swift reply. I hope there is a way to keep these long messages on the site. Verizon is funny that way - they also refuse to print them for me. One would think that since they are my property I could have a printout. Other companies do it - but they are adamant on this. I like the service though and do not want to pay penalty charged for "divorce". Thnaks again and reply at your leisure...
