As a simple fix, goto your page for sharing Spotify, and create all your invites. You don't have to send them out just because you create them.

In general, I agree that it would be nice not to have to do this.

A comment on the question "Invitations where are you?" in Spotify:

Invitations are a way to manage the growth of the system (free sign-up is not feasible, the back-end must be able to cope). When deciding who to give invites to, it makes more sense to give it to paying customers, right? Anyway, if you get invites, the Spotify client will inform you of it.

You either need an invite, or you need to become a premium subscriber. Both are done via the website.
