Not always, but some people have been helped. I guess it depends on the situation. What does seem to be certain, though, is that they usually take at least two weeks to get back to you with a real answer. Good luck! – Amy Muller, on November 20, 2008 21:25

Same thing also happened to me.
I have sent an email to login@facebook.com last night, hopefully they will send me one back.
Do they always sort out ppls problems?

Happened to my account few days ago too... I decided to mass email all the @facebook.com emails just now... But I didn't get any automated replies... Is that a bad sign?

Have patience! My account randomly disappeared and i had an unregistered Facebook account. I contacted Facebook and had a reply in 7 days, they reset my account and it's as it was. The Facebook team are very helpful! I was going out of my mind waiting for a reply - but Facebook will contact you!

I did that whole email, verification thing and then no reply...whats going on my FB account is really important to me...I cant even change my pswd bcuz im no longer on my schools email account soooo i cant do anything! sum1 any1 heeeelp me!! Hey everyone,

I have the same problem and its pretty frustrating i can agree. I just wanted to change my shown email address to another one, so I added the new one and removed the old one. Then i decided, why spam the account I use the most with updates and friend requests, so I decided to change it back to the initial account (the one I signed up with).

So ya I have a ton of friends on my account and it took me about a year to amass a list of everyone I know, I would hate to be forced to start a new account and start from scratch. Not to mention the priceless pictures I have of me and my friends :). I really really hope to get a reply soon.

The last time I used facebook was Friday so, I guess I'll have to see how long a response takes. I've read this entire column of stories so it seems there is some hope.

I'm having the same problem, but I'm an idiot and never got around to changing my email after graduation - so I have no idea if I'm still recieving notifications or not, plus I've been trying to get them to email me back on my hotmail account, but thus far to no avail. I've also gone on facebook through my bf's account and mine is still up and running.

the only weird thing is that about a day or two before i was unable to login i got a facebook virus that sent a msg to everyone i know about me winning some sort of macy's card. now i'm no idiot, and i've never clicked on any links thru facebook, and i hardly have any applications at all - so ihave no idea how i got the virus. does anyone think that has something to do with it? It's so frustrating because there's no reliable way to contact facebook.... there should DEFINATELY be a help number to call so i don't have to wait weeks to find out if i can get back on, not to mention to see all the mail i've probably been accumulating in my inbox!

Please someone help me!!!!

yeh i emailed a bunhc of different ones @facebook, not sure which one got them to reply but it took them 6 days from my initial email to reply (friday to thursday), but they fixed it! yay =D

I have the EXACT same problem as pretty mcuh everyone who posted here... still getting emails to my normal email about ppl writing on my wall, but I can't log in to respond to them. Which emails do you suggest me contacting to get support from facebook? I tried their standard form on their website, but it's been like 6 days now and I have yet to get a response.

Hi Zowy. Unfortunately, there's no employees participating from Facebook here. All anyone here can do is offer the same advice that's already been offered. I had already sent numerous emails and had no replies or help or support whatsoever from anyone from facebook support (disabled@, login@, privacy@), so I still have no idea how to resolve the issue, it has been over a week now since I sent the first email to the support team.
I had 2 emails listed in my account settings, and I used to use the 1st one to log in; and 2nd one was the contact email where notifications are sent to. I thought of removing (1) so my whole account will work on one single email address only, which is (2), but unfortunately, after I removed (1) from my account settings, I have been unable to log in with Any of the email addresses. Both the email log in tries will encounter the error:
Incorrect Email/Password Combination

Facebook passwords are case sensitive. Please check your CAPS lock key.

I am sure I entered the correct password and email. Anyway I tried resetting the password, and with Both emails I entered in the Forgot your password section, the error message shows:
Unregistered Email

The email address you entered has not been registered.

Can I please get some help? Thank you for your time.

i had the same problem a few weeks ago. i filled out the contact us form on facebook several times and emailed login@facebook.com several times. i didnt hear back for 2 weeks. however, after those 2 weeks, i sent an email to disabled@facebook.com and heard back within 2 days and they fixed it. so i would suggest definitely emailing the disabled email address because they were a big help whereas the other ones never responded at all.

Seems like myspace does not have this problem. I am having the same problem as everyone else and maybe since there is no solution and no one hears back from facebook team, you should just set up an account through myspace and send messages to all of your friends to see you there. Seems like the only solution.
