When using the ping.fm integration, I think it would be great if I had a choice to post it to Ping.fm or just post to Twitter.

I know the ping.fm integration works but using the ping.fm triggers do not work (post only to twitter by using @tt at the beginning of message).

So its it possible to have a choice in posting if you using Ping.fm.

I agree. I think making all tweets with a # a public tweet makes sense.

How about we add flickr.com (or any online photo services) to ping.fm? basically if you add flickr.com to your accounts you like to update, anytime you upload a photo (and only when you upload a photo), it will automatically be uploaded to the your flickr account, along with any text post as the photo description...

You can also do this with Facebook. Update your status with a photo and along with a ping.fm link to the photo, that photo is automatically uploaded to your facebook account's mobile updates (or any folders you choose)

cool idea, no?

the mobile login site loads and I can put in my login information. Once I "submit" it, the site reloads back to the login site, not ever letting me in to the mobile dashboard..

for reference, I use A LOT of mobile (versions) of sites, including Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Linkedin and they all work fine on the phone

is there a way for ping.fm to send me a sms from my posting email address, so I can start a threaded SMS chat on my Treo 700p?

it would help me easily "reply" to the thread with my post instead of always starting a new SMS and then looking up / adding ping.fm posting email address before I post

that's how I use Twitter, which makes it easier for me to Tweet thru SMS.

there's no instructions telling me I had to use the SUBJECT heading to post a note to my pictures, so I had to find that out myself and even that doesn't work that well...

one of my POST with a picture even says "SAY Just testing out Brightkite and playing with my toys..." in the actually post... (check my naMofNi account)

do I really need to put "SAY" before every picture email in the subject?

my other problems is sometime the picture isn't sent but the post is...or the picture is sent but no post...
