Hey Dan, You can look in the campers by grade level folder-- one of our campers started this. you can also tag your page according to your level (elementary, middle, high or University) and search by tags. See more on our help page --https://kristineedudemo.pbwiki.com/Problem-Page – KrissyMo, on July 24, 2008 22:27

To add images to your wiki page, follow these simple steps:
1) Click edit
2) Look on the right-hand side of your wiki screen. There is a box that says "Inset links"
3) Chose Images and files.
4) Click browse to locate an image
5) Click upload.
6) Now that your image is uploaded you can now insert it into your wiki page.

I am teaching special needs students in grade 2 and 3. I am trying to decide how to best set up my wiki. I don't think they can maneuver through it independently. I am leaning towards just exposing them to wikis. Maybe having homework pages that their parents can help them on. That way I can get parental involvement.

I want to be able to play (still having access issues) how others are using pbwikis on the classroom and to practice with the new interface, even though we cannot quite use it due to the new log-in method (requiring email). Want to be able to "send an update for my colleagues" and adding a page to the right folder (click on add, but nothing happens). Just want to see how the new version works.

I started using wikis at the end of last year to get my students to create a project on line -- it was a learning experience and I am excited to learn more about adding in pictures (especially math formats) and bringing a more dynamic look to the pages. I am ready to learn! However, it's hard to find the time in the summer to sit down to complete the assignments all at once but I am doing it little by little as I can. Thanks for having this set up for us!

I went to a session on Wikis in elementary classrooms at the MACUL conference last school year and was very intrigued by what those two teachers were able to do with third graders. If their third grades can use a wiki, so can mine. I just need to be ahead of them and know exactly what I can do with this thing.

I currently have seven wikis going, all in various stages. I'm finding it difficult to get people to use/change the wiki...unless of course I'm grading them...then they jump in. – Diane, on July 22, 2008 23:39

I'm coordinating clinical experiences for a graduate program in health sciences and teaching some of the didactic courses. I've used pbwiki in the past but haven't ever really known how to use all the tools. I hope this will help! I want to have students use the wiki to create portfolios and to work on collaborative projects.
