nanolaura reported a problem in Apple on January 05, 2009 16:52:
iPod nano won't turn on next morning and then has to be restoredI keep having to restore my iPod nano. When I'm done, everything looks great. But then the next day it won't turn on (even though I didn't use it at all), so I have to plug it in to iTunes again, which then has me restore it again, and so on and so on, over and over. I've tried the "resetting" thing toggling the Hold switch and then holding down various spots on the wheel.
I hadn't used the iPod for almost a year, so I charged it for 3+ hours and according to it it's holding the charge, so I don't think the battery is dying unless the indicator is wrong. But should I have to restore just because the battery dies?? (if that's what's wrong)
