Fwiw, there's an update from @crystal re: the disabled "Older" button in another thread.

Thanks for the "long time listener, first time caller" approach. I love that.
Sorry for the delay in responding. This is something we've thought about but I don't know if we've settled on the best way to tackle it. Let me check with the rest of the gang here and see if we can't figure out a great way to accomplish this.

Hi I know Twitter will routinely disable pagination whenever they're having technical problems, as they did yesterday when they lost a database server. But they usually restore it after things stabilize.
Fwiw, I just tried now and I'm able to page through older pages until p.10. I can't go older than that, though, even if I try to change the page number in the URL by hand.
If you're still unable to go past p.2, my suggestion is that you log a support ticket at http://twitter.com/help

I've tagged the two similar threads with "url shortening service" to make finding them easier in the future.

Opening the door to other URL shrinking ideas would be awesome. See the similar request here:

20 characters for Name, which is just displayed for additional info, and which can be used in Twitter's User Search to find you.
15 characters for Username, which is used in the URL for your Twitter profile, and which people use to send you direct messages and @replies.
