If anyone else has this problem (which I hope this person fixed by now) try going to Control Panel|System|Advanced System Settings. The DATA EXECUTION PREVENTION is what has been closing my browser, but it's very annoying since there is no ON and OFF, just ON for essential programs only and ON for all programs EXCEPT those I choose. Good luck
