After you've uploaded your file on archive.org, it should have a page like this one: http://www.archive.org/details/JimGui...
You should find a link to the MP3 file on archive.org under the section called "Audio files" on that detail page.

Ok, i think I know what the problem is ... the url you are using does not have a .mp3 at the end, which is what you need for slidecasting ;
Check to see if the website hosting your audio gives you the mp3 url...
Else you could use www.archive.org... it is free and give the url with the p3 at the end.

Oops errorI am trying to upload an audio mp3 file to my slides. I keep getting an "oops" message telling me that my file isn't accessible from your servers. The message says that this may be because I have entered the wrong URL or because my file hosting server is not responding.
Well... I am copying and pasting the URL and the site is a school site that everyone else in my class has been able to use to host their mp3 and upload them to slides share, so what is going on? I have been having this problem for a few weeks and I need to get this problem resolved asap for my deadlines. Thanks for the help.
