Neil Kay-Jones replied on September 14, 2009 09:06 to the question "Yuuguu linked with Skype does not initiate calls" in Yuuguu:
Hi,
It seems like it is loosing the link with skype and i would suggest that you restart both Skype and Yuuguu.
If you open Yuuguu first then it will open Skype for you and ask you to accept the link with Skype.
I had this on my machine once and it seemed to do the trick.
Please reply back if you do not get any success but while you are trying the link up again and before you restart the applications can you turn diagnostics on by right clicking on your yuuguu icon in the dock and choosing 'About Yuuguu'
Then 'turn diagnostics on'. Once you have restarted both apps as above and tried doing a skype call or screen share or both from Yuuguu, if it does not work then go back to 'About Yuuguu' and save the log file and send it to me at neil.kay-jones@yuuguu.com.
Kind regards,
Neil

hi Alejandro,
We agree, there are some fixes we need to make to the widget. The idea has of being able to host the gateway to your screen sharing on your own website is one that has been snapped up by many users.
So much so that we are now working on Web Share Widget Version 2. We are thinking of offering a Flash version so we would welcome your thoughts on that but we need to do some testing on that first.
The H1 tag will be fixed asap and please keep in touch regarding any thought you may have.
Thanks,
Neil

Thanks for your question. The service is working for me, so if you could check your network settings and restart the application and try again.
If you still have problems, try turning on diagnostics in the about dialog. Then recreate the problem and send our Dev team the log file and we'll have a look. (jk@yuuguu.com)
Also can you provide information of what operating system you are working on and if you are behind any firewalls or manual proxy settings.

Hi,
Screen sharing should not loose connection every ten minutes and is not due to the free limit. This is more likely to be down to one persons connection to the internet.
We are working on how best to notify you if a persons internet connection is lost as this will freeze the screen share and best results are to just start the screen share again. If it persists then the viewers may need to log out and back in again.
$15 per month is per host account so whoever is hosting the screen share has unlimited usage to let viewers view through the browser. You can as you suggest have a couple of accounts on the Plus version and just allow others to view through the browser. Anyone who has a Plus account can share with up to 30 viewers for unlimited time.
We also find that Firefox is a great browser to view in if you are having problems with Opera.
Thanks for contacting Yuuguu,
Neil

Hi, we are just in the process of changing this page due to the confusion of this feature of Yuuguu and its comparison to other products offering remote login features. Yuuguu is built for collaboration and allows you to remotely login and control another computer so long as there is some one to accept your request to do so.
We are sorry for any confusion on this page and its content.
