Yes, that's a good idea.

My main use case is that I have a lot of disparate mailboxes that occasionally are very full, so it can be hard to scroll around and hunt down the pesky older messages.

I'd like a way to leave my mouse on a button and repeatedly click to quickly jump to each unread message. Ideally it would jump from mailbox to mailbox in order until everything is read.

This is inspired by how RSS readers like NetNewsWire work.

Ideally there would be a quick and easy keyboard shortcut as well.

On my Mac, Mail.app is reporting that it cannot verify the identity of your IMAP server's SSL certificate.

Apparently Mail.app isn't recognizing the DigiCert Inc. signing authority on my machine.

Is it safe for me to accept this certificate? I'd like to make sure there isn't a man-in-the-middle attack or anything going on here.

I'd love it if there were a preference to reverse the sorting order. I'd prefer a global option but per-service would work just as well.

The idea is that it's easier to read downward through time since that's how people usually read text. Think of it as being like an IRC channel or IM conversation.

Otherwise my eyes have to constantly jump up to the next message but then read down for the several lines of an individual message, only to jump back up again afterwards.

I know not everyone agrees so I think it's fine to keep the default as-is, which matches the Twitter homepage and the Facebook news feed.
