I actually had this exact problem about two weeks ago. Everything was working great and then all of a sudden nothing would turn on even though my battery was charged fully, etc. I ended up having to get the motherboard replaced which I had actually just had to do 6 months ago. The computer itself is only about 18 months old. Fortunately I have a 2-year warranty. I have heard a lot about faulty motherboards on the XPS 1330. Sorry. :(
