Also (and most of you already know this) try this search feature:
http://search.twitter.com

It gives what I'd call "semi-automatic" updates in that, you enter a search term and get results but then it also notifies you when to refresh to see additional tweets that apply and have been added since you first hit "search!"

Best of luck until twitter gets the basic search back online...

Also try Inviteshare.com - sign in and then search for "pmog" and add yourself to the list where a bunch of us check regularly to ensure that we get invitations out to those who are waiting...cheers!
