I appreciate the effort but that's not much help. If the videos play (which they do) then flash works. I just played mine again and I see the flash logo before the arrow comes up on the play button in the centre of the video.

Cooliris is a red herring and it doesn't work (in my version of my Linux distro) anyway.

if it's a driver issue then code that runs the record module should say so. It doesn't say anything at all so there's no watchdog timer, no error info - we're just left hanging. If there's a Flash issue it should complain about that. Not working without throwing an error message is unacceptable.

How hard is it to publish a list of supported drivers?

I had high hopes for 12S.tv. The sound on my phone is not great (especially outdoors) nevermind the expense of emailing video. Now I can't use my Asus EEE 4G either.

CoolIris record video blank on Asus EEE 4G Linux
Record video complained about not having CoolIris installed but still does nothing after CoolIris installed.

Asus EEE 4G Linux running Firefox 3.0.1

    Firefox upgraded to Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.11) Gecko/2009060214 Firefox/3.0.11 GTB5

    Log in to http://12seconds.tv/channel/Netscr1be

    Click record

    Record window blank

    Firefox error console shows

Failed to load XPCOM component: /home/user/.mozilla/firefox/32u0mdlv.default/extensions/{3112ca9c-de6d-4884-a869-9855de68056c}/components/unitsdata.bz2

There was another similar message about a .so file but it got pushed out of the error console by a bunch of CSS issues.

http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtop... may have a solution to this issue.

Are you looking for tech support people? I know 12seconds.tv is a side project for the people involved but maybe it's time to put some serious effort into supporting it.
