A comment on the question "Authority count on website and on Technorati differ - why?" in Technorati:
Thanks Eric. Unfortunately, the widget on my site is still incorrect. I guess 'soon' doesn't mean 'soon' ;) – neville, on November 14, 2009 19:49

Missing titles with Tweetie 2 image posting to MobypictureLove Tweetie 2 for iPhone! But I've discovered that posting tweets with images that go to Mobypicture are posted on that service without titles, ie, the content of a tweet. No such error happens when posting images with Tweetie 1 for iPhone.
I've described this situation more fully in this Audioboo: http://audioboo.fm/boos/69746-titles-...
Hope you can fix, thanks!-

Can't save settings: "Screen name has already been taken"Seems like this is a very old issue. And I can't see anywhere that it's actually been solved.
So here's my situation.
I recently acquired @neville, a Twitter account in my own name, one that somebody else had registered nearly 2 years ago but had done nothing with. Twitter agreed I could have it.
Great. But, whenever I try and change any setting, I get this error -
"Screen name has already been taken."
and no change can be saved. I could upload a new avatar but I guess that doesn't count as a change. So, for instance, I can't change the background: when I try and then click 'save', I get that error message and the change isn't saved.
I also added my mobile phone number; sent the verification code by SMS to the UK number Twitter proposed. I was expecting an SMS reponse to confirm but I didn't hear anything. So I sent a tweet by SMS to see what happened. It was published.
I'm directly logged in to the account and can write and post tweets. Weird.
Can anyone help me resolve this? Thanks.

Configured plugin but nothing notified to ping.FMI've configured PingPressFM on my WP 2.7 blog, set a trigger that will notify Ping.FM whenever I publish a new blog post. I've gone through the whole process: set up, activate box checked, saved and then global saved.
Yet whenever I publish a post, there are no notifications made.
Here is a screenshot of the settings page in my WP admin showing that trigger as on.
What am I doing wrong? I also noticed that when I view the settings page after leaving it and coming back, the drop-down for current trigger says 'select a trigger', which suggests there is no trigger set, even though I did the activate, save, global save.

Plugin version historyI just noticed in my WP 2.7 dashboard admin that IntenseDebate plugin version 2.0.18 for WordPress has just been released. Is there a note anywhere of what's new and/or different oin this latest version? Can't see any mention on the ID website, here or in the ID blog.
Reluctant to upgrade without some info after a really bad experienbce with upgrading previous version - see my blog post here http://tinyurl.com/8h2qkn
Thanks.

seesmic WordPress plugin conflict with Intense DebateI've had the seesmic plugin running on my WP blog since the first beta. Love it! Now, though, the plugin has vanished after I installed Intense Debate - vanished meaning that it no longer even appears on any page on my blog.
The folk at Intense Debate confirmed that it conflicts with their WP plugin. I'm not clear where the conflict is.
Any thoughts? I really would love to have seesmic on my blog again.

Michael, thanks for your reply. Disappointing to hear that re seesmic. You said "Currently IntenseDebate and Seesmic are not integrated." What do you mean? IntenseDebate can't import seesmic comments? Something like that? Or what? Can you be clearer please? Thanks.
I think I've discovered another plug-in I use that now doesn't work with IntenseDebate installed - Simple Recent Comments.
I have to say that discovering 3 plugins that don't work once I've installed IntenseDebate is very disappointing indeed.

Two other WP plugins vanished after installing IntenseDebateI installed IntenseDebate on my WP blog (v 2.6.3). All seems fine but two other plug-ins no longer work. In fact, neither is visible on the blog any longer - seesmic (video commenting) and Comment Quicktages Reloaded (help with adding HTML attributes). What did IntenseDebate do to them? I'd like both these plug-ins to work again please!
