I connected it back up so when you click on shopping online from the index of stayfocusedonline it redirects to the first page of shopping online but that's when the error shows at the bottom of the page in shopping online.

Ok I can make that change - I thought it was a little off myself but it was a fleeting thought. About the link - I deleted it because of the error message but I can reconnect it if you need to see the error - I will do both right now.

can anyone help with my redirecting problem. I still get an error message (the link works but I get an error message in the bar at the bottom of the page) the error message says permission denied?? and that it could slow the site down. I need help!!!

The error message says error on page - "Line 787, Char 3, Error Permission denied, Code 0, URL: http://shoppingonline.synthasite.com/. What does this mean. I have tried entering the data so many different ways but it is just not working for me.

Thank you again - I had found this page (at first I was not asking the question right). I followed the instructions and it worked, although it takes me to the blank page in my website first and then redirects me. When it redirects there was an error message in the information bar at the bottom of the page saying 'done but with errors on the page'. I'm not sure what that means or where the error would be but I will try to understand more when I come back home.

How can I create an immediate redirect from navigation window

I would like for people to click on Shopping Online in my navigation window on my main website and be redirected to my synthasite subdomain site (both sites created by synthasite - main one hosted by godaddy) how can I make this link possible (right now i just put a link to the site shopping online on the page that opens up from the navigation bar) but I would rather have people redirected immediately?????

I hope that was clear because I'm a little slow on the uptake of computer talk

Part ll of above question from New2me - once a person leaves their name and email address the page would automatically redirect them to the information I have to over - I do not know how to redirect a page. Even if I don't use it on this website I may use it on another one so can someone help me out with this redirection also.

It feels like something is missing on my site - i think it is a true index page but I was not sure of how to create one. I was having a problem with godaddy (see previous help dated 9/27/08. I may have been entering the info in the work place and that is why it did not take. I just went back to godaddy and noticed the section I was entering info in was under Alias. How can I correct this

Kershnee answered this problem (hopefully) under godaddy help. For me the first process did not work (entering the 208 # in the second window) but it seems like the "OR" process did work you enter your domain name = hosting.synthasite.com. (in the first window) Time will tell if it really worked but atleast I did not get the error message that kept coming up

The OR setup worked for me atleast I got away from godaddy telling me to enter a valid whatever. Time will tell is it really worked but thanks for the alternative because entering that number in the second field was not working for me.

Enter a valid host name for the Points To Field is the error message i keep getting from godaddy. I entered the number 208.75.208.172 but it would not take that - i entered synthasite.com in the "enter an alias field and it would not accept that - so now what do it do
