A comment on the problem "Icons on walls fall down" in BumpTop:
I am not sure how it works exacly, havent gotten a beta yet... but what if when something is on the wall it is given the same physics characteristics so when objects collide they are not moved... or given the physics wieght of the wall, for example object A is pinned to the wall so now it becomes the heaviest desktop item, object B is drug over to the wall and pinned but doesnt move object A cause it cant... thats just a thought. :) I have no idea how you really implimented the physics or how the program really works, I just saw the videos of it today. – Nicho, on October 14, 2008 07:59

WhiteboardMake the desktop back wall be a whiteboard. This would be a place where you could type in a quick note or make a simple drawing. You could hide stuff behind it, resize it and resize the text.

Desktop StatisticsDirect transfer of desktop selected items to a bar graph or pie chart or Excel sheet. What I mean by this is to make it so you can put different files into a pile... ie have 1 pile with 50 items in it, another pile with 25 items in it and another pile with 25 items in it, you select those three piles and go to the selection pie and have an option in there to say create pie chart or bar graph or dump stats to an excel chart.
