A comment on the idea "Ping.fm integration in Tweetie 2 for iPhone" in atebits:
I used ping.fm in the original Tweetie to post to other networks, NOT Facebook or MySpace. Very disappointed that a decision has been taken to abandon it from an alleged understanding that the *vast* majority used it for one particular purpose. My view is that ping.fm is used for a multitude of different scenarios and not just one or two use cases.
All I can say is I hope you are listening to us users (which is great to hear!) and *please*, *please* bring ping.fm back.

Thanks for the explanation Adam although I don't fully understand why these changes have been made as they overly complicate what was essentially a simple service.
Now, it seems we have to post multiple times, a problem which originally ping.fm solved. I'm afraid you've probably lost me as a user now - you just made everything that was simple, more complicated - I may as well just update my services individually as I used to. Oh well. Anyway thanks for the explanation.

For me, simply starting chat with Twitter@Twitter.com starts the flow of all the people I follow. Have you checked on Twitter that you've checked the radio button to 'Device Updates On' on each of the people you follow? This activates the IM functionality for each follower.

Posting to Blogger still not workingI've successfully created my Blogger credentials in Ping.fm and ticked the Blogger Blog I wish Ping.fm to post to, but updates from ping.fm still don't appear on the Blogger Blog I selected.
Any ideas on a fix?

I activated my existing Blogger account in Ping.fm and selected the individual blog to post to with the check box options provided, but when I send an update from Ping.fm, it doesn't show up.
When I go back to select my Blogger blog in Ping.fm's Blogger settings the Blogger blog check box I checked is unchecked. Every time I try to check the box it seems to uncheck itself . Any ideas?
