Nick replied on April 17, 2009 09:32 to the question "Favicon placement for added flavor...where do I put the file?" in Wordprezzie:
Hey Kirk
Just upload the favicon.ico file to the root folder of your web server. (Normally 'htdocs', 'httpdocs', 'www', 'public_html', or similar) -- e.g. in the same folder as your WordPress installation. (The folder should contain a file called wp-config.php.)
You shouldn't need to add any code for the favicon to get used; most browsers now search for one automatically (as long as you name it favicon.ico).
Note that if your WordPress installation is in a subfolder of the root directory, you'll need to put the favicon there instead.
Hope that helps!

A comment on the question "Do you support multiple currency PayPal import?" in Less Everything:
Great! Thanks, Steven. This is the only thing that's stopping me from signing up right now. Look forward to your updates whenever they arrive. – Nick, on April 14, 2009 16:14
Nick asked a question in Less Everything on April 12, 2009 07:57:
Do you support multiple currency PayPal import?Really pleased to have found Less Accounting, and love your simple handling of PayPal imports.
I've just imported recent PayPal data. Less Accounting has interpreted all of these transactions in GBP (my local currency), but some of them are in dollars. Is there any way to automatically convert USD amounts into GBP with each import?

Just a note to let anyone else reading this know that the problem was a corrupt zip file -- not an issue with the theme itself.
Anyone who gets an error when unzipping the purchased theme files can get in touch with us at help@wordprezzie.com for a new copy.
Thanks for your help in diagnosing the issue, Kirk!

Just a quick reply to let anyone who's following this know that, although the Ice Cream Dream theme doesn't currently support advertising blocks on the homepage outside the main header, we're happy to quote on custom work like this for anyone who asks.
Feel free to get in touch by emailing help@wordprezzie.com.
Richard -- let us know if you need any more advice at all. We'll be happy to help.

Nick replied on March 25, 2009 15:26 to the question "How can I make a shortcut button from a word?" in Wordprezzie:
Hi Richard
You can do this in the WordPress rich text editor. Just select the text you want to make into a link, then click the link icon as pictured in this screenshot:

When prompted, add the full URL to the page you wish to link to, including the "http://" bit at the start.
If you're not using the rich text editor and want to create a link somewhere else (for example, in your sidebar or footer widgets), you'll need to type the html code to create a link, which you can find here: http://www.w3schools.com/HTML/html_li...

Nick replied on March 11, 2009 20:32 to the question "Why can't I find design tab in wordpress?" in Wordprezzie:
I managed to sort this out with the original poster via email, but for anyone stumbling upon this, the answer is that the "design" tab is now the "appearance" tab in WordPress 2.7 and higher.
I've updated the Ice Cream Dream documentation to reflect the change.
Nick replied on March 11, 2009 20:24 to the question "installing affiliate widget" in Wordprezzie:
Hi there
You'll need to upload the banner image and then edit your affiliate link code.
Right now you probably have a link code that looks like this:

You'll need to update that to include the image, like this:

If you get stuck at all with the path to the image, feel free to drop us an email to help@wordprezzie.com and we'll get you up and running.
Thanks for your support!

A comment on the question "Is it possible to have pages in the sidebar only on certain pages..." in Wordprezzie:
Hi Kathyrn
To replace the sidebar, just delete the whole of line 16 (highlighted here: http://img.skitch.com/20090227-kiey45...) and add the code you need to display your e-commerce information.
If you'd like to replace the sidebar altogether in a page template, simply remove lines 15, 16, and 17 (from the screenshot linked above). Then, to make the left column stretch to fill the space that the sidebar occupied, change the "span-13 append-1" on line 5 to read "span-20 last".
That should be all you need to build your own custom template, I hope. Any problems, let us know!
Best wishes

Nick replied on February 17, 2009 21:07 to the question "How to add a view more posts link or pagination link on homepage?" in Wordprezzie:
Hi Niki
You'll need to make some quick changes to the "home.php" file in the /wp-content/themes/ice-cream-dream/ folder:
1) Add line 6 in the following screenshot: http://img.skitch.com/20090217-f19ud2...
2) Edit line 7 to include the "paged" variable as in this screenshot: http://img.skitch.com/20090217-f19ud2...
3) Then you just put the next and previous page links (these ones: http://img.skitch.com/20090217-xka6j2...) just before the second-to-last line of the home.php file. (After the content but before the get_footer() function, so it looks like this: http://img.skitch.com/20090217-cfkeek...)
Hope that helps and let us know if you need a hand.
Best wishes

Nick replied on January 15, 2009 22:41 to the question "Different tab for blog page" in Wordprezzie:
Hi Kathryn
Apologies for the late reply -- we've just finished catching up with email after Christmas.
Would you like your new blog page to show posts from all post categories, or just a certain category (or group of categories)? Let me know and we'll do our best to help
It will require a small bit of custom code, but I'd be happy to supply it for you and give some instructions to get it up and running.
Best wishes
Nick
