Thanks, Iain. Things got pushed back a little because we're so busy with custom site design right now, but we're hoping to bring the second theme out this month for all the budding photographers, designers, writers and freelancers out there.
We're aiming to follow-up with the blogging theme early in November. Thanks for your interest and do stay in touch.

Hi Kathryn
There are a couple of plugins that might do the trick for you. For contact forms, you could try:

For your photo gallery, we'd suggest:

All are free. Thanks for buying Ice Cream Dream and let us know if you'd like any more help or advice.

Hey Ian
Great to hear from you and thrilled that your Ice Cream Dream -based sites are doing so well!
We've got two themes in the works -- one is a portfolio design for photographers, designers and illustrators. The other is a customisable grid-based design for bloggers, writers, and publishers, which will also be great for affiliate marketing too.
We're hoping to launch both later this month -- stay tuned! If there are any themes or features you'd like to see, feel free to suggest some here. Likewise, feel free to drop me a link of the sites you're using ICD on via email and we may be able to help promote them.
Best wishes

Hi Hilly
Thanks for purchasing Ice Cream Dream. The individual PSD and Fireworks artwork is available from the documentation page under heading "5.1 Download the template files": http://wordprezzie.com/icd-guide/
Here's a direct link to the zip file: http://wordprezzie.com/wp-content/upl...
Hope that helps and happy customising!

Hi Ian
Sorry to hear it's still not working. You're very welcome to email your WP and FTP login details to me at help@wordprezzie.com -- I'd be happy to have a look and see what could be causing it.
We have the thumbnail part of the patch running fine on http://icecreamdream.wordprezzie.com so I suspect it's a server issue. Forward me your info when you get a moment and I'll be happy to help.
Best wishes

Hi Ian
Sorry to hear it's not working out, but pleased that you've got GD installed! Let's get it working for you.
Please can you try this for me:
1) Login to your WordPress admin
2) Click "settings" and then "miscellaneous"
3) Uncheck "Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders"
4) Go back to your post, re-upload the same image, and make sure that the custom field is still named correctly.
Hopefully this will fix things -- let me know if you're still having trouble and I'll jump on it tomorrow.
Best wishes

Hey Ian
You're very welcome. Yes -- it sounds to me like the GD library might not be included in your hosting package. Here's a quick way to confirm this:
1) Create a blank file called "info.php" in your website root directory
2) Copy and paste the following line into it and save the file:
<?php phpinfo(); ?>
3) Browse to yoursite.com/info.php in your web browser.
4) Search the page for text containing the words "GD Support". You should see a box like this one, which should be labelled "enabled":

If you don't see that box, or it reads "disabled" instead, GD isn't installed. It's worth asking your host if they can offer it on another shared server for you, or enable it on your existing box.
Otherwise, I'm afraid you're right -- perhaps it's time to switch hosts!
Let me know if you need anything else.
Best wishes

Nick replied on August 29, 2008 15:53 to the question "thumbnail auto generation?" in Wordprezzie:
For anyone who stumbles upon this question, there's now an automatic thumbnail generation patch for Ice Cream Dream for those who want it here:
Thumbnail patch
This isn't included in the default Ice Cream Dream installation because it requires the GD image processing library for PHP, which isn't compiled with every PHP installation (although it's pretty common -- check with your host if you're in doubt).

We've now got a patch available for Ice Cream Dream for those who want automatic thumbnail generation on the front page, together with blog comments and a "read more..." link, as can be seen on the http://zentofitness.com blog.
Here's how to install and use it:
1) Download the patch from here: http://wordprezzie.com/patches/icd/ic...
2) Unzip the file and upload the contents to your /wp-content/themes/ice-cream-dream/ folder, saying "yes" to any requests to overwrite existing files.
3) That's it! The automatic thumbnail generation uses a special script called "timthumb" by Darren Hoyt (thanks, Darren!). To generate thumbnails automatically with each post, just add a custom field called "thumb" to your post. It should contain the filename of the image you've uploaded with the jpg, png, or gif extension like this:

Note that you no longer have to resize the image. Simply add the full name of the image in the custom field and you're done.
If you have any questions or further comments, don't hesitate to add to the discussion here.

Hi Ian
Thanks ever so much for the kind words -- they mean a lot to us!
I've been reviewing the various thumbnail options over the weekend, and think I have a solution that I'm happy with now. I'll update the homepage code, and combine it with the custom date/comments hack (that we coded for him) so that you've got both to play with. I'll send out an updated version of the code before the end of the week -- hopefully later today if time allows.
Thanks again for your compliments -- hope you continue to enjoy the theme!
Best wishes

Hi there. There are a few ways to implement this -- many of them require a workaround (such as using a preset filename for all images).
Which themes have you tried that use automatic resizing? I'll be happy to add the functionality to Ice Cream Dream -- I just want to check that it would act in the way that you've come to expect! Let me know and I'll update the code and send you a new copy.
