nickb reported a problem in Xmarks on May 18, 2009 12:23:
'Sync was cancelled', no explanation why. Unsorted Favorites keep coming.I've various problems with Xmarks, notably that it seems to be filling up my Bookmarks bar with empty folders called 'Unsorted Favorites'. But I'm also finding that in the General tab of my Xmarks Preferences, underneath the Current status it seems to be stuck on 'Canceling sync' (and it says the Last sync was over a month ago).
When I click 'Synchronize now', Xmarks gets as far as taking a snapshot of the local data store with Xmarks changes, then stops, saying 'Sync was cancelled'. Same deal if I try to change my profile. I'm also using Xmarks on my copy of Flock, which may partially explain the 'Unsorted Favorites' issue, but not why they're being generated when I haven't had Flock open for several days... I sync with MobileMe, too, but not regularly, whereas the new folders turn up constantly.-

Open links in background? It'd be useful if Postbox included a right-click option to open browser links in the background, in the way of Apple's Mail app. I like to work through my mail, sending various links to the browser in the background as I go, and then switch to reading through them - particularly when I'm working through listserv-type digests. If the only option is to switch into the browser when you click in mail, the to-ing and fro-ing between apps quickly becomes very irritating...
