nickname replied on October 23, 2009 14:38 to the question "How do I get connection type A?" in Wuala:
you give far too little information about your whole operating system, your network, your everything. basically it is working fine for connection-type a when you forward (both directions) an unassigned (free) udp-port from your external wan-side ip address to your exact internal (suppose you are doing home-user lan with nat) local ip address and its proper udp port.
there are millions of faq and instructions out there for other applications. whole websites dealing just with router and homenetworking setups.
you didnt even tell us your router hardware/software names, model, firmwareversions or anything at all.

if you read the release-notes, you could have seen that the fsi for win7 works for x86 for now only. x64 will follow later. – nickname, on October 22, 2009 22:31

do you read the faq and all the comments within wuala? dragdrop requires filesystemintegration, and if im not mistaken, fsi never worked on win7 as of now. wuala is planning to change the technology regarding fsi to make it work with win7 at some later point. be sure to check your co-dwellers threads and topics before creating dupe posts. good luck.-

did anyone already speak to the alfresco/jlan people about when they inted to fix their software. thats the component caleido and wuala use for filesystemintegration on winblows. somebody really needs to drive this issue forward and solve it. microsoft platform is really annoying. – nickname, on July 11, 2009 12:54-

i have experienced some loss of onlinetime over the last few days (with the new releases of wuala) also, but only like from 100% constantly being online to like 94%-96%.
although i am still wondering why there was a loss at all. wuala runs constantly here and we seldomly have network outages and are multihomed.-
