A comment on the question "Can I somehow share files and folders directly using windows only ?" in Wuala:
actually this is false. you cannot re-share a lan drive that you have connected on your workstation/client-computer. only real local physical drives/folders can be shared towards the network. mounted lan drives cannot be shared on the clients. – nickname, on June 02, 2009 10:46

there is of course the workgroup/domain file/folder/printer/object sharing that comes with windows.
but this has little to do with wuala.
newbie?
see the millions of tutorials of local folder and file shares for windows:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/us...
http://compnetworking.about.com/od/wi...
file/folder sharing is also possible via global network, but is not really advised because of security reasons.

like i have written in the threads original post, i have constantly decreasing onlinetimes on several wuala clients, although all of them being constantly online and not having any network problems. most of the clients had 99% (aka 100%) onlinetime, and a horizontal onlinetime line in the chart, but all (each and every one of them) have decreased their online time during the last two weeks or so to like 95% and 93%.
i also have seen quite a number of discussions and comments inside the wuala client in the main wuala group or some community groups discussing wuala bugs that many other people are also asking whats happening to the constantly decreasing and ever harder to maintain online time. i dont remember where the exact discussions are precisely.-

wuala in hiding? whats up lately? no new builds and website troubles?whats up with caleido lately? has wuala development stopped or something? there are many bugs with the latest wuala builds and on my computer while being constantly online and not having any sorts of network trouble or without any changes to the computer setup, the onlinetime of wuala is nevertheless deteriorating. i went from 100% (for like a year now) back to 95% or something. no changes or network trouble. so whats wrong with wuala and the whole company? any hints? out of business already? ;) first signs of trouble because of lacie?-

a more convenient slider of bandwidth in the main gui (like filesharing clients azurues, amule/emule) would be best. i hate it to log into the client all the time mess with options windows. this needs to be allowed in the maingui, when clicking on the speed status area, where it already shows how fast its currently up and downloading.

A comment on the question "Does Wuala's filesystem integration driver has a hidden directory named Trash?" in Wuala:
for all usernames, groupnames and internal stuff such as myfiles myfriends mygroups and who knows what other hidden internal names and such. see the releasenotes for myfiles mynames mygroups from some releases back, it was stated there. maybe there are also different ones. – nickname, on May 19, 2009 21:41

or could have been even a user. remember all the elements inside the fsi are rather elements in the wuala object tree. as you can also navigate there via the webpage http://www.wuala.com/yourobjectnamego... http://www.wuala.com/trash – nickname, on May 19, 2009 06:26-

what kinda codepage and charencoding does your webbrowser use? what webbrowser do you have on what os? the mail looks like properly encoded atleast from the headers. but obviously it doesnt make sense to copy/paste the already destroyed encoding into getsatisfaction as that will not make it work again. need more details or submit proper bugreports to the vendor (caleido). – nickname, on May 19, 2009 06:24
