Facebook API bug preventing CenceMe activationHi All,
There is currently a bug in the Facebook API which is preventing new CenceMe users from activating the application. This is effecting a number of applications that interact with Facebook. The team at Facebook is aware of this problem (which started to appear in the early morning of today EST) and are attempting to fix it right now. We will keep you posted as to their progress. You can track the bug yourself if you wish by looking at the offical FB bug report (link: http://bugs.developers.facebook.com/s...) or by following the many threads that exist regarding this problem on the FB developers board (link: http://forum.developers.facebook.com/...).

Hi JarJar,
In our current version the timezone is fixed as being eastern standard time. However in the next release you will find our software will adapt to the timestamp configured on the user's iphone.

We looked into this problem. You should find that this is resolved now. The issue was related to the recent difficulties with the facebook developer platform that was experienced by all the organizations that operate facebook applications.

Hi there,
In regards to your question about localized time zone support within the CenceMe application. We will be including a modification to the system that will support this request in the next release of the application. This release will happen early in August and will include a number of other enhancements. In the new version the time displayed will be based on the timezone of the iPhone source device. Until that point you will find all timestamps to be indicated with the EST U.S timezone to make it clear to everyone when interpreting these times.

A few folks have been asking how to find which of their friends have CenceMe installed. There are a number of ways you can find this out. Firstly, whenever someone installs CenceMe and activates it with their facebook account then automatically they will appear on your list of CenceMe friends on your iPhone. Second, you will see mini-feed items on facebook that inform you of any friends who add take the step of activating CenceMe and their facebook account. Finally if you go to the "About CenceMe - iPhone Edition" page available within the facebook site, then on this page directly below the text at the top of the screen which describes the application you will see a box entitled - "Friends who have added this application". In this box all your friends will be shown who are also CenceMe users.

Hi,
I'd like to help, if you could give me some additional information I will look into this issue. We have a lot of users activating their application very minute currently - everything is fine with the system. Perhaps there is a specific issue with situation. If you would give me an approximate time when you saw this problem occur, and the error code that was associated (if any application pop-ups appeared) I will investigate.
Also this could have been a connectivity issue. What do you observe if you attempt to activate again?
