We are always working to add new countries to the Rebtel map but we don't have a date when we might be able to add Nigeria to the list.

Your idéa has been implemented and tested. This means that you don't need to verify a number that's been verified in the past again.

We experienced a temporary technical problem at the time when you reported the issue, but that have been resolved.

If you would still experience any problems, then contact us at customerteam@rebtel.com and include your numbers and contact us from your registered e-mail address.

It would be great if you could include the incorrect caller id that was displayed on your phone screen as well.

It's possible that the number you are trying to reach is out of the coverage area. This is quite common in the Philippines.

I would recommend you to try dialing the number through the regular network to see if you hear a ringtone or a recorded error message.

Try again with Rebtel if you heara ringtone and it should work much better for you.

Thanks for the assistance Dennis.

You can choose to create a new account or add a new Canadian number to your account.

If you choose to add a new number, then buy a local SIM card in the country you are visiting and set it as your preferred number for the service to work as is it intended, Rebtel doesn't handle roaming.

You can add the number by logging in to your account, click on Settings, then click on Manage Phones and follow the instructions.

Just click on ‘Make preferred’ once you’ve verified the number.

All your Rebtel numbers will change to local numbers in the country you're visiting. When you get home, simply change your preferred phone again and your numbers will change back to local numbers in your home country again.
