Why won't foxmarks stop trying to sync?

The Foxmarks icon keeps spinning endlessly in the bottom right-hand corner of my browser.

By double-clicking on this icon, I go to the Foxmarks account panel, and it tells me it's status is "Synchronizing." However, it *can't* be synchronizing, because it doesn't have my password- I haven't saved it. In fact, it tells me the last time I successfully synced to be in January- a problem I clearly should remedy....

Regardless, I don't want the continued extra CPU usage of Foxmarks always trying to sync when I don't want it to- that's why I don't have it set up for automatic syncing in the first place.

How can I make Foxmarks stop trying to sync? There doesn't seem to be a preference for this.

I am on a MacBook 10.4, using the latest version of Firefox. Thank you!

actually, i have six panes up top, and i can't get rid of them.... and they move every single time i switch views. too frustrating.

Yeah but, it's in the unscheduled section. This means don't look for it any time soon, right? If enough people need it will this change?

I've managed to make Songbird my only music player for many moons now, largely because I can still sync everything to my iPod, which is my lifeline.

But if I can't sync podcasts anymore that takes out a lot of the function of my pod.

Are there any other programs for Mac- NOT iTunes- that can do this, maybe something open source? Is anyone working on an add-on?

Hey.... No cheezy video at all is not an improvement.... It may have been cheezy but at least it had the basic function running videos from the library. Now it's not even scheduled?

Yowch. I figured out what it is that's missing. Without Cheezy video integration I can no longer import podcasts to my ipod.... This is a sad day for me.

Will this be reintegrated soon? Or is this something for the Add-on Elves?

Hm, looking at the taskbar icon image suggests to me that maybe only a little tweaking is needed.

I'm thinking that if you rotate the image of the S'bird's head just a little so the beak is in profile; and then also the white headphones stand out in complete outline against the black, it would look great. The profile of the bird would uniquely be the Songbird bird, and the headphones would clearly be headphones and make it obvious it's a music program.

I don't know if I'm describing this very well though.... I could draw it in two seconds but I don't have a working graphics program right now! If not, I'll be visiting my folks in a few days, and they have a scanner, so I could upload a sketched image! :)

BTW Mr. Mayo, I think your little taskbar icon looks great, and the fact that it's B&W definitely gives it distinction.
