Songbird 0.7.0, check. Any types of files, double check. (I listed the programs I was running when I first made note of this: Firefox was running web pages, about four tabs, gmail, google reader, and nothing else too heavy. Songbird was playing an mp3. Preview had one jpg file open.)

Hi there. Sorry I didn't give enough info. for you.

I'm using Songbird 0.7.0. I have tried adding the artwork a few ways, by importing the jpegs along with the music, or by adding them after the music is imported, in the metadata. It doesn't show up either way, anywhere, in the Now Playing window or in the Media View. (I don't know anywhere else it could show up.)

Hmm, so I can't isolate those files then, is that correct?

I'll keep working on this, but maybe in the meanwhile someone more knowledgeable than me will find interest in making an add-on, or finding a way to make Songbird compatible with one of the alarm clock programs out there. (I was using this one with iTunes because it was very simple and free: http://www.robbiehanson.com/alarmcloc... )

Is there any way to locate specific Songbird playlists as files within Mac OSX? I can not run my alarm clock program with Songbird, so I am trying to create an automator workflow that will open a playlist at a scheduled time. I would need to know where the specific files are stored.

Hello, should I go ahead and submit this as a bug? When I add artwork to a new album, it does not show up unless and until I restart Songbird. I'm on a Mac OSX10.4.11. This has happened repeatedly and with different feathers.

Sorting albums by artist

Looking forward to the sort-options update scheduled for this month. Will it include ability to sort albums by artist? (In other words, I would like to group all albums by the same artist together and have tracks sorted within the albums; within the library window, not by creating additional playlists.)

Can I add my own folders to the bookmarks folder, or any of the other existing folders on the left of the Songbird browser? I don't seem to be able to do this now.... I'm on Mac OSX 10.4.11. (I right click with a track pad.)

Is there a shortcut option (I'm on a Mac) for hitting Apple-I for information on a song? This does not work on my computer....

Playback stalls and starts up later in the song whenever another program does something, and I'm not on Windows, so I don't think this is not a known issue.... It even happens when I open a new tab within Songbird itself, like I did to post this question. (I'm not running a lot right now, just Songbird, Firefox with four tabs, and Preview with one window.) I'm on OSX 10.4.11.

It doesn't just stop, or "skip." It acts just as if the mute button is on during the stall.

I am on a mac, 10.4.11, and playback is interrupted frequently, whenever I'm using other programs. I don't have a lot running, (Right now just Firefox, Songbird, and Preview) it even happens sometimes when I open a new window within Songbird. Thanks!
