Why is my battery light flashing?
The battery icon on my Dell Inspiron 1520 is flashing red and then blue. I've tried taking the charger out and just running on battery but it keeps flashing. I've turned it off, let the battery drain a little and left it without charging for a day but after a while the flashing starts again. Is there a problem with it?

I think resetting the battery has worked. I've plugged it into a different outlet as well and all okay now. Thanks for your help =)

Hi. I have a Dell Inspiron 1520 that's about a year old. The power adaptor is plugged in but the battery icon says I only have 7% because the adaptor is recognised but not charging. The message says "plugged in, not charging". What is wrong and how do I fix this??
