A comment on the problem "Hide your locations" in Gowalla:

That means that I have to inform my friends beforehand that I'd like to add them because they won't be able to recognize me anymore. Way to go.
I just stop using it. Unfortunately I can't delete my already stored information because I'd like to keep my username and start using the app again as soon as there are privacy-options available – nielsk, on December 13, 2009 09:37

There should be a privacy-setting. It's ok that my friends get to know it but it's not ok that everybody gets to know it. I want a setting like "only friends can see any of my information"
Right now there's no way to control at all the way my information is posted.
In FB you have at least some control what the world can see and what not (and the stuff which can't be set to private/only friends is already deleted from my facebook-profile)

If there's no way to block/unblock from within Tweetie/Mac please include it. It's quite annoying that I have to log into twitter via my browser to do that task (with all those spammers out there it's actually getting as annoying as not being able to unfavorite my favorites from within the app)

You have to double-click on your avatar in the side-bar, then you can access your favorites via the appearing star on top.
There's already a feature request for putting favorites to the sidebar somewhere on getsatisfaction...

We have now "Video Tweeting" but no un-favoriting and no favorites in the sidebar? That's priority-setting done right...

This is definitely needed. I can work around the missing favorites in the sidebar as long as those are not there but going to the website just for unfavoriting stuff...argl
