The only problem I can see with using an 'anonymous' account to post things is that the account would be editable by the user. There's nothing currently to stop them adding new email accounts, editing the avatar, deleting posts, removing votes and so on.
Ideally an anonymous account would be able to post new issues and reply to issues, but that's about it to stop things like vote stuffing.

We're looking for your feedback on communications. The University of Lincoln is looking for your feedback on how it communicates with you. Are you tired of the daily alert emails? Do you want to receive more messages through Blackboard? How do you feel about being texted? Do some departments do better than other? All these questions and more are up for answering, and the University needs you to answer them!
Let your Student Rep know if you have something to say so that they can bring it along to a meeting about this very subject. Alternatively, let us know through Get Satisfaction and give our brand new feedback community a whirl.

Nick Jackson shared an idea in Get Satisfaction on November 04, 2009 16:34:
Customise some terms around the site.Just an idea which will expand Get Satisfaction's appeal to even more companies - the use of customised terms around the site to replace the current ones.
For example, some companies prefer to refer to "colleagues" than "employees". Some companies will be providing "services" or "tiers" rather than "products". I know that I'd quite like to be able to change "customer champions" to "student reps" to fit in with our particular use of GSFN.
I appreciate it'll probably be quite a bit of work, but perhaps something to bear in mind for a few releases down the line?-

You can now print from your own laptops when connected to the wireless network within the GCW Library (Brayford campus), and this will be rolled out to other sites between now and Christmas.
Visit http://print.lincoln.ac.uk from on campus to get started.
