Hi Julie
Thanks for your message. I'm sorry you're having issues. Could you just confirm which version of RapidWeaver you're using? Have you tried using the updated version to publish at all yet?
The 'Unknown Format String' can sometimes happen during hiccups with the MobileMe servers, however if you're getting this issue consistently after using the update, please let me know and we'll take another look at this.

Hi there,
Showing up on Google is, unfortunately, not as easy as 'pressing a button' or simply publishing the site.
Google's 'bots' are always scouring the internet, however it can take up to a month for sites to be recognised. Google's ranking algorithm is a secret, however they use a technology called PageRank to rank pages based on a number of things such as number of unique (i.e. non-spam links) and how relevant your content is deemed.
Always make sure the "Browser Title" box in RapidWeaver has a relevant title. It's worth running the Spider Test http://www.spidertest.com/ as a guide on what you could improve about the indexability of the site.

Hi jcp107
How are you referencing images? Are you referencing them from your Mac's hard-drive? If so, RapidWeaver doesn't 'grab' these images from the HD and upload them.
To resolve this you could do any of the following:
1. Use drag and drop to bring the images into RapidWeaver directly - you can rename them, resize them and more using the Media Inspector.
2. Upload them as Assets (through the Page Inspector -> Header tab) and reference them from the (pagefilename)_assets/ or assets/ folder - this depends on whether there is more than one page at that level in the site.
3. Upload them outside of RapidWeaver and reference them in the src attribute using absolute or relative URLs.

Hi Brian
So after a little testing, here's what we can do:
You *can* publish your Payloom site to a subfolder of the personal domain. However... RapidWeaver, when publishing, will report it's been published somewhere else: ignore that warning.
Here's what to do:
1. Create your Payloom site etc.
2. Go to the File menu -> Publishing settings
3. Go to .Mac tab
4. Check that the username and password are correct
5. Check the 'Use Personal Domain' option
6. Check the 'Publish to Subfolder' option above it: disregard the warning message that says you shouldn't use this option with the Personal Domain feature.
7. In the folder box (below username and password) enter the folder you want it published to: perhaps 'store' without the quotation marks.
Now save the settings and close the Publishing Settings window.
8. Go to the Site Setup window (Cmd + 1 - or the Setup button on the main toolbar) and enter the webaddress such as http://www.yourdomain.com/Site/Store. The /Site bit is required, as your iWeb site is published in that folder.
9. With that setup, close the Site Setup window.
10. Click 'Publish' on the main toolbar.
11. RapidWeaver will throw up a warning box: Click OK.
12. RapidWeaver will publish the files correctly, but at the end of publishing, will report it as being published to http://homepage.mac.com - this is a known issue in 4.0.1 which we'll be fixing in 4.1 - however the site HAS been uploaded.
13. Link to the store from your iWeb site, and you should be all set
Just as a sidenote: We're aware that this is *highly* confusing, however we're working to ensure things are a little clearer in RapidWeaver 4.1
Let me know if you need any further help!

Hi Bryan
the 'Missing Plugin' warning is a little unusual: can you ensure that Payloom is correctly installed on your system (this can be fixed by re-downloading the plugin, opening the downloaded disk image and simply double-clicking the 'Payloom.rwplugin' file).
For the store, this is a little more complex! .Mac (or rather MobileMe) Personal Domains are designed only for use by one application / site really, so getting an iWeb site and RapidWeaver store to play nicely on the same domain is a bit of a challenge. I'm not entirely sure of the best way to go about it (it's the first time this has been asked!) so I'll take a look using my own iDisk and let you know if it's possible and how to go about do so if it is possible.
Best
