I've also tried 07xxxxxxxxxx@t-mobile.uk.net and setting the carrier to 'Other' but that doesn't appear to work either.

However, Twitter provides a workaround -- follow Sandy on Twitter and turn on mobile there, including the pushing of messages from people you're following to you by SMS. This way, you can still get your Sandy alerts by SMS, and can message 'her' directly with 'D S Remind me to xxxxxxxxxxx'.

I have exactly the same problem...

Sandy says it supports T-mobile UK but I don't get any SMS.

I've entered my number in every format I can think of:
