JimB asked a question in AirSet on November 21, 2009 04:37:
How do I combine billing for various services?I have 2 or 3 premium services to which I've subscribed. Currently, I receive invoices for each of these independently, with the correlating individual charges to my credit card. Is it possible to combine all of my premium subscriptions onto one invoice and one charge on my credit card?
Thanks,
JimB

JimB replied on November 11, 2009 12:54 to the question "Is it possible to attatch a contact to a calendar event?" in AirSet:
I don't know of any way to attach a contact to a calendar event. Unless you are trying to add that contact as a participant--but it doesn't sound like that is what you are describing.
Since information from contacts and calendar events aren't normally the same type of information, I'm wondering what you are trying to accomplish--there may be another way of using the software to make this happen.

Sherrie & AirSet Staff--
Thanks for your hard work and for posting this update. The posting of progress alone is a big help.
*The "Manage Members" link is cool and will speed this process along.
*The "Invite Members to Join" link is great, but the real help is in the new method of inviting members by using a distribution list. Super!
*"Calendar Improvements" is a home run--clean out of the park! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
*The two new links are a welcome addition to the Web Publish app. The best part is that it forced me to read all of the other available links in this function...way cool!
Thanks again. This is the tweaking that users love without the loss of feel of experienced in a major roll out.

P.S. The natives are getting restless. I think the iPhone better be the next update. ;)

JimB replied on November 02, 2009 02:09 to the question "Link Scanned Documents??" in AirSet:
Kathryn,
Jim is telling you to create a web document because a web document has the ability to insert hyperlinks inside of the web document. These hyperlinks can point to other documents within your cloud computer, web pages, or other publicly accessible content.
You should familiarize yourself with files (link) and also familiarize yourself with web documents.(Link)
I'll attempt to walk you through one method.
The name of the cloud computer is called test...'cuz this is where I play with stuff to make sure it doesn't break something. I have created a client named John Q. Public and have given him a file folder in the test cloud computer. You can see that in this image:

I assume that you have this because you want to add links to a customer file. Next, I need a web document that has his information and allows me to append links and other information as needed. For that I need a web document. Let's start one like this:

Now you have a web document, but it is blank. So let's add some text and a few links:

Now that you've created your web document, remember that you simply double click it to open it and read it, or to follow a link inside of it, but you must high light it and click edit to change your web document. Let's add a link:

I click ok and now it is a hyperlink. I can now go to that document by simply clicking on it from within my web document for John Q. Public.
Be advised that AirSet doesn't play well with some formats, such as docx. PDF's have to be downloaded, but text and jpegs usually work fine. Consider that when you are scanning in your documents.
HTH,
JimB

@Brian--
That is good information--the ability to perform a manual backup now. I didn't know of this method, but I will certainly put it into use.
For the development of the backup function, I'd suggest a radio button (select/de-select) on the admin page that would allow me to turn on/off a back up reminder. This should also have a setting that remembers where the backups are to be stored--a setting that can be changed as necessary:

Which would then pop up this question at the appropriate time before performing the backup:

Thanks for listening,
Jim
JimB replied on September 04, 2009 22:30 to the idea "Add participants by tag" in AirSet:
Thanks Aiki. The sub-calendar template works for some of the events. I guess my problem is that I have sub-groups of the entire group, many of which cross sub-calendar boundaries. I guess it would be ideal if I could add participants to an event by role. Tags would work, but would require more effort on my part. Sub-calendars could be made to work, but would require the most effort.
