Why "recently viewed" on the front page? What are the chances that I will want to watch something *again* that I have recently viewed? Probably very small.
"Recently *unfinished*" sort of makes sense, but *new, favorite*, or unwatched, or *similar to your recent views* or *totally opposite of your recent views* (call it the "change of pace menu") make more sense.
I don't need to see a thumbnail of what I've just watched, I'm not an amnesiac.

Better Apple Remote support for Mac version? In the Mac version, the Apple Remote's enter/play/pause button sends the "space bar" character, but Boxee wants "enter" or "return" to select anything other than pause and play.
It'd be awesome if I could enable a 'compatibility mode,' which makes Boxee respond to the "space bar" character as if it were an "enter" or "return." I was unable to use the Apple Remote for most functions with Boxee, so I ended up buying a wireless keyboard to use as a boxee remote. I'd love to get rid of the keyboard in favor of using my existing Apple Remote.-

A comment on the idea "Please ADD better menu options with remote..." in boxee:
I think he means he wants the UI to go *back* one level when you hit the "menu" button on the remote. He doesn't want the menu button to invoke the main boxee menu (e.g. recommendations, recent views)
this would be useful if you were in video > internet > cbs.com > full episodes and you want to get to video > internet > cbs.com > video clips, and not go all the way to the recommendation screen. – njpomeroy, on December 20, 2008 01:37-

njpomeroy reported a problem in boxee on December 20, 2008 01:31:
Netflix module is unusable and unwatchable for me. 0.9.5.4497well, from where I'm sitting, netflix is both
(1) broken (the movie disappears from view and there's no way to get it back, but the audio keeps playing. oh and sometimes it crashes boxee) and
(2) really hard to use. I find looking through the list of available movies very slow and the interface is cumbersome. Search doesn't seem to work, it never finds anything.
I am psyched that Netflix is even part of boxee, and want it desperately to work, rather than having to use yet another physical box/remote (the Roku one) in addition to my Home Theater PC (MacMini, actually).
