I have a Windows Mobile phone, and m.ping.fm used to work just fine. Now all it does is send me to the ping.fm/dashboard page.

Which would be FINE except the "Ping it" button on the ping.fm/dashboard stopped working months ago on my windows mobile phone. Before m.ping.fm existed, the regular ping dashboard page used to work when I posted from my phone.

If they could get the dashboard page's Ping It button to work on Windows Mobile again, that would be great.

But in the meantime, we need the ability to use m.ping.fm if we're to be able to post from a cell phone.

I tried it again earlier today. No dice.

When I create a new post in Blogger, there appear to be a couple of entry fields that I don't recall seeing before, in between the title and the body of the post. (I got so used to blogging via ping.fm, it had been a while since I posted regularly to the blog via blogger itself.) I wonder if that's part of the reason that ping.fm and Blogger don't seem to be on speaking terms.

I just checked. It's not working when I pick "Blogger @bl", either.

I had a post fail when I tried it from Ping Mobile on Sunday, and three more attempts failed today when I tried to post from a laptop.

I get some kind of park page when I try to access http://ping.fm/m or http://ping.fm from my Windows Mobile phone. I saw on a blog that the iphone page is doing the same thing.

Is there some kind of problem with the domain names for mobile content?

Sean's reply to "No more cookie for mobile version of Ping?" was just promoted to the most useful! Gabey8 and 2 other people think it's one of the best replies.

Give it a shot now, as I have made some updates. Report your findings if it doesn't work as expected. It's hard to debug this since we don't have the variety of handsets you guys are using.

Ping isn't posting to Blogger

Is Ping not posting to Blogger? It was fine yesterday.

Today, I've sent a mobile blog post from Ping and a regular blog post from my PC to Ping. Neither post showed up on Blogger, even though they both appeared on LiveJournal so I know Ping saw the posts.

There is no longer a "remember me" option for the Windows Mobile version of Ping.fm. I have to log in EVERY time I want to use it from my cell phone. :( Please give us back the "remember me" option.

Still waiting, a good half hour or so, for a blogger post from ping to appear on blogspot. Blogger is not reporting an outage. Is there a glitch sending from ping to blogger?

It has posted correctly in the past, so I know my ping and blogger accounts are properly set up.
