nmat replied on July 17, 2009 02:01 to the problem "How can I cancel the upload operations?" in Wuala:
Wuala isn't installed in a conventional way. Since it can be started directly from the browser, it is a sort of bridge between a website and a desktop application. To uninstall you just need to delete a couple of folders. Check this:
http://www.wuala.com/en/support/faq/c...
Regarding your problem, you can just delete the folder that contains the unuploaded files and the uploads will stop. Obviously, an uninstall will also solve the problem.
I've made a note to the developers about this. In my opinion, it is a high priority bug because uploads/downloads are the core function of wuala.

nmat replied on July 11, 2009 00:36 to the question "WiFi shared storage" in Wuala:
Hi. I think that you want to use only your router to earn space, am I right? If that is case, you have to run Wuala on your router. I don't know the technical details of Linksys WRT6150, but I seriously doubt that it can run Java+Wuala.
A lightweighted version of Wuala for these devices is a long-wanted feature... Can anyone from the team say if such a thing is on the roadmap?
nmat replied on July 06, 2009 17:50 to the idea "Auto notification, if your backup is going to be lost!" in Wuala:
I assume that you're talking about trading storage and about this specific situation: when your earned space goes below your used space.
If that is the case, you won't loose any data. Currently, you just won't be able to upload any more files until you have available free space again.
However, the team reserves the right to block access to some of your files until you restore the space you lost. I'm sure that, if this happens, you'll be notified several times by email before anything becomes blocked.
A comment on the question "How does it work?" in Wuala:
Quoting the FAQ:
"What about availability and guarantees?
We can’t give any guarantees or service level agreements at the moment. Instead, we offer you our promise that we will do our best to make sure your data is always available. Your encrypted files are stored redundantly on our servers so that even if a server crashes, they can be resurrected. Encrypted fragments of your files are also stored in the grid storage which provides an additional backup.
Please note that the main reason for temporary unavailability are bugs in the client software, which improves every day." – nmat, on July 06, 2009 17:40

A comment on the question "delete files?" in Wuala:
No deletion. In the future they may block access to your files, but I think that no one ever talked about deletion. Currently, the only limitation is that you can't add more files if you don't have enough space – nmat, on March 15, 2009 21:17
