You are doing this through the file system integration, right? The problem must be there. Probably some logs would help (FSI log or something).

You're right. I hadn't thought of that. Older files are deleted as the new ones arrive.
Now your idea makes a lot of sense. There could be an option to maintain some files always on cache...

Wuala isn't installed in a conventional way. Since it can be started directly from the browser, it is a sort of bridge between a website and a desktop application. To uninstall you just need to delete a couple of folders. Check this:

Regarding your problem, you can just delete the folder that contains the unuploaded files and the uploads will stop. Obviously, an uninstall will also solve the problem.

I've made a note to the developers about this. In my opinion, it is a high priority bug because uploads/downloads are the core function of wuala.

If you click "stop all" it doesn't work? One simple way to solve this would be to simply select the files and delete them. However, the buttons in the Uploads window should work...

You can simply download the file. It will remain accessible inside wuala, even if you are offline. If you want to delete the local copy you can right-click->properties->clear cache

That's very strange and looks like a serious bug. Wuala shouldn't ignore files... This happens all the time? Have you tried adding the files again? Remember that each file is only uploaded once, so, if you try to upload the files again, the upload time of 4500 files will be 0 :)

Hi. I think that you want to use only your router to earn space, am I right? If that is case, you have to run Wuala on your router. I don't know the technical details of Linksys WRT6150, but I seriously doubt that it can run Java+Wuala.

A lightweighted version of Wuala for these devices is a long-wanted feature... Can anyone from the team say if such a thing is on the roadmap?

I assume that you're talking about trading storage and about this specific situation: when your earned space goes below your used space.

If that is the case, you won't loose any data. Currently, you just won't be able to upload any more files until you have available free space again.
However, the team reserves the right to block access to some of your files until you restore the space you lost. I'm sure that, if this happens, you'll be notified several times by email before anything becomes blocked.

EDIT: How many files are you trying to backup? If you backup several thousands you may have some problems...
