In the current version the uploads sometimes stop... Maybe your problem is related to this: http://getsatisfaction.com/wuala/topi...
Wuala shows what it's being done when you add a file. If you add a big one you can clearly see the different stages: reading file, encrypting, uploading...
With small files the encryption is very fast. Sometimes you don't notice it.

Thanks for the praise :)
Regarding your question: Wuala only supports one file view. Detailed file view has been suggested (http://getsatisfaction.com/wuala/topi... ) and it's on the (long) to do list. Hopefully it'll get implemented soon...

I just tried on a AMD AthlonXP 3000+ with a 1.5GB file. It slowed the system a little but it didn't make it unusable. After the encryption the upload went smoothly.
The encryption and fragment generation should run in low priority and shouldn't interfere with the system so this was probably a bug...

Here everything seems to be working fine... Nevertheless the webserver may be experiencing problems. If this is the case we need to wait for an answer from the team... – nmat, on February 07, 2009 04:18
