Have you considered putting the day, month in different fields,with the month first . . . and leaving out the year altogether on this page - would that work?

Somehow it seems incongruous that it is only after adding transactions that one is able to split/itemize them, am I alone in thinking this? A more natural home for this functions would seem to be the same page where the relevant txns are added.

Possible to automatically make 'Pending' the default for transactions?

Whenever I enter cash txns, I automatically mark them as Reconciled since there is no bank statement to reconcile them against. For debit card txns, I don't do anything with them immediately, so automatically, their status is Default, whatever that is. Whenever I check them against the statements, I can then mark them as Reconciled.

Is there any way to make txns automatically 'Pending'? That way I can quickly search for txns that need to be checked against the statements.

Hi, I'd like to have to option to choose the day of the week when the report gets emailed out; rather than just the Friday. Or how about adding Monday which gather up information from The previous Monday at 00.00 to the night before, Sunday at 23.59?

I guess my inspiration for this was Shoeboxed.com. Receipt emails could be forwarded to a Buxfer email inbox in my account. Super-duper Buxfer algorithms would scan my emails for purchase dates, amounts and the names of stores and automatically attach the email to the appropriate txn. Users would get the chance to say 'yeah, that email matches up with that txn'.

Maybe this is a little fanciful but . . .that's my vision for the moment.

Uploading stuff one by one is [comparatively] hard work.

Searching for refunds

In the Summary => Search => Type box, it is not possible to search by Refund - can you change this? I would like to be be able to search for refunds. Thank you
