Yikes! That shouldn't have happened! Was this the game against Lorraine? I will let the game developers know they need to look in to this. I am going to create a ticket for you in our ticketing system, so expect a mail to the address you provided to this GetSatisfaction profile. Thanks for the note!

Hi Susan! I assume this is for UNO? Can you try clearing your cache to see if that helps fix the solution? Here is an article on how to clear your cache: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedi...)
A comment on the problem "Rude or offensive chat in UNO" in GameHouse Social:
Thanks for the response, Dori. Unfortunately sometimes people can just be complete jerks, and often just standing up to them will help. – Noel, on December 17, 2009 01:19
Noel replied on December 17, 2009 01:17 to the problem "Racist player" in GameHouse Social:
I am sorry you encountered this inappropriate behavior. Did you know you can turn off chat by clicking on the checkmark next to Enable Chat in the chat window? This will stop the window from displaying comments from the other players.
We are looking in to ways to reduce this type of distraction for people that just want to enjoy a game. Thanks for your feedback.

Yikes! Sakinna, I will look in to this. Can you update your Email account in your profile in this site (you can edit your profile here: http://getsatisfaction.com/people/sak...) so I can create a support ticket to help you? Thanks for your help!

Hi Andi! Sorry for the problems. Can you try clearing your cache to see if that helps eliminate the problem of not allowing valid words? Here is an article on how to clear your cache: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedi...)
As for the uncommon words, we only use 'valid' words found in the Collins dictionary, so they each have a definition, but I know some of them are sure obscure! :)

Sorry for the delay in responding! Can you try clearing your cache to see if that helps? Sometimes a browser can get some corrupted data that gives it trouble playing correctly and clearing the cache helps it reset. Here is an article on how to clear your cache:

Let me know if this doesn't work, and I can do some more research.
A comment on the problem "Code for download is not working" in GameHouse Social:
Sorry for the confusion. The codes are to give incentive to try the other games. So when you get a code in the Facebook game, it is to be applied to the PC game. And when you get a code in the mobile game, you can apply it to the Facebook game, etc. I am glad you are enjoying Scrabble! – Noel, on December 17, 2009 01:03

Can you refresh your page to see if the balance was just showing something incorrectly? I will definitely have our support team look in to this for you! Can you update your Email address in your GetSatisfaction profile so I can create a ticket for you in our support ticket system? You should be able to do this at: http://getsatisfaction.com/people/jjs...
Noel replied on December 17, 2009 00:30 to the question "font size" in GameHouse Social:
It sounds like you may need to fix your zoom settings. You can usually do this by first clicking on the game window, then holding down the Ctrl button while pressing the + or - buttons, or you can hold Ctrl while scrolling the wheel on top of your mouse (if one exists). Hopefully one of these helps you.
Noel replied on December 17, 2009 00:29 to the question "I want to go shopping" in GameHouse Social:
Hi Carolyn,
Sorry if that is confusing. The 'store' is the selection of bombs, etc, on the side of the screen. You can use those bombs at any time during the game instead of waiting for one to appear in a row, but you need coins. That is what it is referring to. Hopefully you can set new records with those power ups! :)
Noel replied on December 17, 2009 00:26 to the problem "Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" in GameHouse Social:
Hi Nico! I am sorry for the delay in response, we are still working out our support process.
Where are you connecting from? We identify your region by the IP Address passed to us from your ISP (internet service provider). We haven't changed any logic on our side. Perhaps checking with your ISP to see if they changed anything in their network will help identify the problem. If you can find out what your public IP address is, I can do some research on my side.

Noel replied on December 17, 2009 00:24 to the problem "scrabble knocks my pc off completely" in GameHouse Social:
Yikes, Iris! That is no good! Can you try a few of the following solutions to see if they help? Especially the first solution:
One thing that has helped other players is logging out of Facebook, clearing your browser cache, exiting your browser all the way, and reloading your browser and logging back in.
- Empty your browser cache: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedi...)
Also, try one of these solutions:
- Internet Explorer users, please add "https://global.fb.gamehouse.com" to your Trusted Sites. Here is a link (http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Wind...)
- Update your Flash Player (http://www.adobe.com/products/flashpl...)
- Update your browser:
- Internet Explorer (www.microsoft.com/windows/?internet-e...)
- Firefox (www.mozilla.com/firefox)
- Google Chrome (www.google.com/chrome)
- Apple Safari (http://www.apple.com/safari)
-visit http://www.macromedia.com/support/doc... and in the flash window that appears in the top right, select "global.fb.gamehouse.com" (you may need to find it) and click delete website. This is kind of clearing your Flash memory.

Noel replied on December 17, 2009 00:20 to the question "Bad Timing = Cheater" in GameHouse Social:
Hi Karen,
When a player goes over their allotted time, the opponent should see a 'Force Forfeit' button below the board. This will force the player to forfeit, giving you a win and them a loss. Some players use 'Nudge' first to give the opponent another chance to play, but it is up to you. It sounds like you played with someone that wasn't willing to give you the same courtesy that you gave them. Hopefully your next opponent is a better sport.
