38 Magazines in & profile name needs to change...

When I opened my issuu account almost a year ago, I made a big, big, big mistake.
I opened my account under my name, which is what I thought it had to be.
The problem is I am realizing although we get great stats on our mag, for SEO its not good that the URL says...

Thats not helping SEO for our site; Take Root and Write.
Which is also the name of the magazine. Its listed...
Take Root and Write Digital Magazine, Issue 38, 2009, November 6-13

(as they all are, just the date changes)
The ... NoelleMena/docs/trwdm-issue_38-2009 in the URL is taking away from the site itself.

Now we have 38 Magazines on Issuu.

I need to make a decision of how to optimize this.

HELP!

(I thought about opening a new acct and choosing the Profile name (Can never be changed) to
Take Root and Write

question is..
As a Pro Member; I need to keep the new act as PRO as well.
But dont want to spend $40 a month keeping the mags under my old act active. (as changing the links on them...hmmm, not the best. Love showing the stats)

If I took the old act and made it NOT pro, would all the mags stay ok? NO changes to them or any links out for them??

Any help, thoughts, Ideas appreciated!

I had posted this on the Issuu Blog when they announced the shelf embedd. I LOVE the idea but as a Pro member I want when they click on a mag to see it with my chosen background and not on the issuu site. I always either embed the style code or use the direct styled link to an image to our email subscribers.

I will LOVE LOVE LOVE This when it is fixed. I want to use it NOW! It will be such an aHmazing way to display. But I just cant use it the way it is now.

Please say that its coming to at least us pro users sooooooooon!

Yes, I was totally able to delete the old outdated info that was in the box by hitting reset.
It just puts the box to empty. WHich is better than having outdated info!
And it is only that box.

I miss this box a lot though :( Just hope its the only thing that goes.

For clarity, ALL MY MAGIC textboxes work from my S4N scripts. On both my networks.
It is only this ONE on the signup page.

Its just on that page that it seems like I cant edit my header/footer, but when I move away from that page I can.

I have received a message from Brad thru a help ticket. where see where that takes me.
I just pray this is not a sign of ANYTHING else happening to my S4N scripts. It seriously affects the network when they are out.

----> As far as the Language Editor - I am not sure how I could get my HTML back in that box that way. I had a graphic and info they could click on before joining the network. Which was a big deal.
If I am missing something with using the LA here, please let me know.

All is well with the scripts, its just this page, and I really need to put something in the box.
I had to get out the old message, The only way to do that was to hit reset. Now there is nothing.

Scripts for NING down on my site. They have gone down like 4 times in the last month. Is scary when they do as my site is really utilizing them. Is there some issue that keeps making it happen? It used to never happen.

You could also use a persona; LikedIn profile. Just use the PUBLIC Url... like mine is..

Lots of people grab the wrong url- the one in the browser. It wont work.

What is it that you want to do Steve? Bring in a Group from Linkedin?
If show its just need to grab the group URL and use in iFrame.
Its covered in one of the Video Tutorials in the Jisbar Community.

I would not like this option to be front and center for people coming to any of my sites/ networks. The point is I am getting them to see what I want them to know about.

I have not had anyone ask to have it off. I wonder if what you had IN your bar made a difference?

How can you offer someone a 'spot' on your bar if members can just disable it.
