noelsaw asked a question in Media Temple on September 22, 2009 04:13:
Grid doesn't support 2nd SSL certificate and no easy upgradeI currently have two Zen Cart sites on MediaTemple's Grid Service.
I unknowingly installed a 2nd SSL certificate which wiped out my 1st SSL certificate. There was no warning that this a 2nd cert is not supported and it would wipe out my 1st one.
On top of that the plan only supports SSL plan. Yes while the sales page now clearly states that I don't remember seeing this when I first signed up.
So now I have to now figure out a way to have a 2nd cert.
I can upgrade to the virtual dedicated or go host this 2nd cart somewhere else. The tech person was helpful but not very sympathetic.
I can't believe there's no extra fee (for example $10 per a month) for a 2nd SSL cert. Short of the headache that I have to go move the site elsewhere.
I've been in hardware/software IT since 1991 so I know there's always some work around or even a good solution but companies or employees just don't want to do it.
