The original iPhone has a different internal microphone that the later versions, and RjDj has never worked well with it because of various audio driver issues. So unfortunately you do need some sort of external microphone with a first generation iPhone.

A comment on the problem "Transfer of Scenes from Shake & Album to Single" in RjDj:

We're working on filtering out these recordings, stay tuned. Totally agreee this is a problem, and we're adding the length of the recordings to the flash player soon as well.

We are investigating, but we think this is a problem related to the changes Apple just made to the in-app purchas structure, where they allowed in app purchase in free applications. Thanks a lot for reporting, we're looking into if it's caused by anything on our side.

At the moment you can't remove the map from existing recordings. If you don't want the map, don't allow RjDj to use your location information when you record!

We're working on a sync solution, that will let you either purchase scenes from within RjDj and so collect them all there, or sync your scenes from an "album app" you already bought. Stay tuned, there are a lot of complexities involved with this for us so I don't have a good time estimate for when this will be complete.

There is a slightly fiddly workaround from us now that doesn't require jailbreak: If you are logged into your rjdj.me account in any app and upload a recording, the scene you recorded will be added to your account. You can then install it in RjDj from your account profile page where all the scenes you own show up.

That way you could for example upload recordings of your favorite Trippy and Shake scenes, and then install those scenes in RjDj. We're working on something much smoother but this is something that works now.

Hi David!

The reason the scene buying in the app doesn't work is that Apple have not yet approved our In App purchase items. We still need the Buy-buttons in there so they can test the functionality though. We hope they will approve this soon so you can purchase scenes from within RjDj!

For now, you need to purchase scenes with Paypal through the http://RjDj.me website, and then log in with the same account in RjDj on your device and install the scenes from there.

All we can say at this time is that we are not only focusing on the iPhone, and we wish to be on more platforms. Keep an eye out for news on this topic on our blog, but don't hold your breath. :)
