Apparently the 256 MB card is out of stock at Apple Palace and there is no ETA on them. I guess I'll go back with the 128 card, which is cheaper anyway. They have those in stock. I ordered my 256 card 5 weeks ago and they still don't know when and if they'll get more. Just an FYI for anyone thinking of replacing their GPU. – normad, on November 04, 2009 14:32

Exact same problems here. Took me over a year to figure out it was the graphics card. Reformatting the HD and reinstalling Leopard did nothing...I had the weird colored bars on the leopard boot up screen after a clean install...it was then I knew it was hardware related and begun really digging. I want my computer fixed! It's been this way for almost 2 years! Now its to the point where it is unusable.
