Airfoil works actually better than dsbridge to stream to an Airport Express. (But it isn't free. :) )

TRL is correct, the exclamation point appears when Spotify is having problems synchronizing your playlists. Usually this goes away itself within a few hours but if the problem persists for a long time let us know the URI to the playlist and we can look into it.

For the last.fm users, there's an add-on called Spotify Last.fm buttons that allows you to quickly 'love' a track on last.fm:

This way, you'll have all your loved tracks centralized on last.fm, no matter if they were played from spotify, itunes, an ipod, youtube, etc.
However, the list of loved tracks in last.fm isn't a Spotify playlist, so it can't be played in sequence in Spotify.
(It would be nice to be able to convert a Last.fm list into Spotify playlist, one can dream... :) )

For me adding to a 'songs I love' playlist is fast enough.
However having the option to rate from 0 to 5 stars would be nice. (I guess this must have been submitted already on getsatisfaction...)

Somehow I didn't feel the need 6 months ago, but I do now. ;)

NB: on windows, if you stream from Spotify to iTunes (with dsbridge, you can then use iTunes mini player to see the title of the currently playing song, and adjust the volume.
However, you won't get a seek bar and play/stop/next/previous buttons. – norz, on November 04, 2009 21:04

I agree, the user should be able to keep duplicates if he chooses to: for instance, I duplicate a special track* on purpose, it serves as a separator in my playlists.

* It's a track with a short artist name and title, and as it's unavailable for me it shows in red, and thus makes a nice separator. – norz, on November 02, 2009 14:20
