If your location, as pulled from Google Maps, is a business, you can apply with Google to change the name they use in the business ("Local") directory. I did this when I altered my company brand slightly. Takes some time, but worked for me!

Inserting Flickr tags without inserting location info

Sometimes I want to post a photo but not reveal the location in Flickr. It'd be great to have photos shared with Flickr to insert a tag of the user's choosing, without sharing location (GPS) info. Would be interesting to allow for a separate tag field for the photos uploaded using the iPhone app as well.

It'd be great if you could use flickr's "date photo taken" data for each image to place that image on that date in the timeline....That'd be really neeto.
